Bowen McCauley Dance

Bowen McCauley Dance  introduces people of all ages to the joy of dance and makes contemporary dance accessible to all. Each interactive performance features a pair of dance pieces linked through narration that highlights elements of the music and movement and invites audience members to compare and contrast classical and contemporary styles.  Audiences might compare partnered vs. solo dance, or the sound of a rock band vs. the sound of a solo violin, and consider how dancers move differently to different music – and whether the dance tells an exact story or is open to interpretation. If desired, each performance can include a “meet the dancers” Q&A segment.

Pair two of the dance pieces listed in program descriptions to create a full-length program.
